What started as a documentation of 15 iconic styles as cut by 5 master barbers,Bevel Classics took root and flourished into a prolific documentation of style, culture and community at this past weekend’s Afropunk Music Festival. Over the course of the two-day event in Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park, our Bevel team captured over 1600 portraits in our signature #BevelClassics style.

These images, taken by the talented Brandon King of BKBOOTH, captured the spirit of the Afropunk, in which freedom, self-expression, love and authenticity reign supreme.

Below you’ll find a selection of the Bevel Classics portraits, but be sure to check out the full gallery to see the entire experience.
