His grooming secret: “Wash your face with warm hot water to open up your pores. When you’re done, wash your face in cold water to close them. It really helps to leave your skin looking fresh and tight. Also, a good exfoliant always helps!”

Advice for those who constantly workout: “When you workout you lose water from your skin through evaporation which can lead to dry skin, wrinkle lines and aging skin. It’s important to stay hydrated and drink lots of water to prevent dry and aging skin. Additionally, it always helps to bring a good antiperspirant!

Post workout routine: “My absolute favorite is taking a long shower with a body wash that has black pepper as one of its ingredients. It helps relieve sore muscles and invigorate the body. Molton Brown London has a great one.”

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash – “I have naturally oily skin so it works well especially in areas around my neck.”

His grooming secret: The best secret to looking fresh after an intense workout is to just let nature do its thing. Workouts, especially boxing, release endorphins which can keep you get on a natural high for hours after you’re done, as well as elevate your metabolism. Hence, feeling good makes you look good!”

Advice for those who constantly workout: “If you’re constantly working out, the best grooming tip I can give is to make sure you stay well hydrated. Your skin can get dry, wrinkled and have blemishes from improper water balance as well as not flushing toxins, which can be released during a workout. The guys at the gym keep gallon jugs of water labeled with their names, and make it through at least 1.5 of them a day. Water, water, and more water.”

Post workout routine: “I like to go to the spa area or steam room after a workout. My favorites are Spa 88 and The Setai in lower Manhattan. Both have a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. It’s the perfect way to relax and rejuvenate.”

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino All Over Body Spray -“Smelling good is just as important as looking good. After an exhilarating workout, nothing is better than stripping from sweaty gym clothes, taking a long hot shower, getting into some great fashions to show off the hard work, and finishing it all off with a luxury fragrance. I love Tom Ford anything, and this particular fragrance is my go to right now.”

Dental Floss – “My dentist says it’s the key to a winning smile. So I use it as part of my regular dental hygiene routine.”

Vitamins – “I do my best to eat right because I train twice a day sometimes along with training up to 10 clients a day, which can be a workout within itself. However, I take a multivitamin daily to supplement for additional minerals, particularly Vitamin D which is hard to get as a Manhattan resident.”

His grooming secret: “Drink plenty of water. It improves your skin complexion, increases your energy so you’ll look and feel less fatigue. It also gets you ready for whatever the day may bring.”

Advice for those who constantly workout: If you workout a lot you’ll definitely be sweating pretty intensely. To keep your skin looking good, make sure you pack your bag with a face wash and moisturizer to use post workout.”

Post workout routine: “I really enjoy the sauna after a good workout. It relaxes my muscles and flushes a lot of toxins out of the body, which helps with wrinkles in the skin and replaces dead skin cells.”

Speed Stick Power Antiperspirant Deodorant “Since a lot of my workouts are heavily cardio based, I tend to sweat more than average, so I make sure I have this deodorant at all times.

Ambi Even & Clear Foaming Cleanser – “I’ve been cursed with sensitive skin, and I breakout pretty easily from wearing hats and sweat bands at the gym, so I make sure I use this.”

Bevel Shave System Restoring Balm – “After I apply my face wash, I never leave the gym without applying Bevel Restoring Balm to keep my face moisturized.”

His grooming secret: “It all starts with preparation before your workout, if you want to look fresh after your workout you have to look fresh before your workout. Trim up, shower and wear some subtle cologne. Also, wearing some nice workout gear always helps.”

Advice for those who constantly workout: “Don’t workout in clothes you’ve already worked out in without washing them first! Sounds like common sense, but you would be surprised! Other than that I would say just stay as fresh as possible guys. If you know it’s been a “rough” day and you still need to make it to the gym, just take a quick shower and be on your way to a great work out. There’s nothing more distracting than someone who smells as if they have already worked out before they actually work out.”

Post workout routine: “After an intense workout I prefer to take a cool shower because not only is it refreshing, but it also helps get my body back to a normal state. The colder water closes the pores so that I’ll stop sweating, and gets my heart rate back down if it hasn’t already by then. Overall, it just serves as the perfect cool down letting my muscles know it’s time to relax, no need to work hard anymore.”

Mitchum Men Advanced Clean Control Invisible Solid Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant – “It’s my number one grooming go-to. This is a must have because when your schedule has you moving around the clock demonstrating numerous exercises you can get sweaty rather quickly. This keeps the sweat to a minimum and keeps me feeling fresh throughout the day.

Dior Sauvage eau de toilette – “It’s not a necessity, but it’s definitely nice to have. A trainer that not only looks the part, but also smells the part is a great way to keep clients comfortable in those close quarter training sessions.”

Lubriderm Men’s 3-in-1 Lotion“From demonstration planks, kneeling exercises and picking up weights all day, your hands, knees and elbows will start to look a little rough. This powerful lotion helps ease that little problem.”

His grooming secret: “Manage your body hair. Yes, groom your face, because you never know when you might need to come out of your shirt. You also never know how close you are going to be to a really attractive woman. What if you end up working out next to Beyoncé?”

Advice for those who constantly workout: “Always keep your hair groomed. A clean hairline and groomed beard (that includes your neck) goes a long way. Also, eat clean! You can often smell your diet through your sweat. The cleaner you eat, the more you can get away with not showering four times a day.”

Post workout routine: “I love a good facial. I feel like sweating brings everything to the surface, and solid scrubbing as well as moisturizing can make you feel like a million bucks. I’ve been known to fall asleep in the chair myself. I also see my chiropractor every week after my heavy leg days since those seem to be the times when I take the longest to recover. And obviously a massage, but I figured that is a given.”
